Dr. Tom Evans

As adjunct faculty at both Salt Lake Community College and Utah Valley University, Dr. Evans is committed to help students prepare for the future.  The 2 videos below (one is a youtube link, the other an mp4 download) explain some of the work being done to prepare students to be successful in college.

I have an interdisciplinary bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, and a Ph.D. in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry, from the University of Utah.  As a private contractor, I have worked in over 30 countries around the world in the areas of counterterrorism, counter proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), response to man-made and natural disasters and medical response to emerging diseases.  During that time, I've worked with and/or trained people from all branches of the U.S. Military and the Coast Guard, the U.S. Department of State, FBI, CIA and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as many foreign civilian and military organizations.  I'm a published author in the areas of chemistry, mathematics, physics and medicine.
