I have an interdisciplinary bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Mathematics, and a Ph.D. in Theoretical/Computational Chemistry, from the University of Utah. As a private contractor, I have worked in over 30 countries around the world in the areas of counterterrorism, counter proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMD), response to man-made and natural disasters and medical response to emerging diseases. During that time, I've worked with and/or trained people from all branches of the U.S. Military and the Coast Guard, the U.S. Department of State, FBI, CIA and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as many foreign civilian and military organizations. I'm a published author in the areas of chemistry, mathematics, physics and medicine.
